The main concern of every landlord during pest treatments is safety and healthcare. Most of the chemical used contains hazardous materials that may affect living organisms. So there is a desire need to safeguard our homes, furniture, and even food. Many people ask about the “after sprays” guidelines. So here are some points to consider after applying the spray to get rid of annoying pests.

  • Wait for some time and let the spray dry:

After applying the spray, don’t rush into the area(where the spray is applied) and wait for some time until the spray dried. It will be helpful and you will never get any medical issues like; your eyes can burn, coughing, breathing difficulty, and increased heart rate.

  • Don’t clean/ wash your home immediately. Some sprays take time to work so if you start washing, the effect of the spray can be decreased.
  • Don’t cook food in a contaminated area.
  • Check your food before eating. If it was cooked before applying the spray then don’t eat it it may be contaminated.
  • Discard wet papers, products, and trash immediately after the spray is dried.
  • Cover any open area, or hole so that pests may not enter the home again.
  • Repair cracks, openings, and leaks.
  • Don’t forget to follow pest infestation signs after every 2 to three months.
